Dr. Jackie Sehn has spent her career on a question most veterinarians never get to ask: what happens when you treat the animal rather than the diagnosis. She has lived and practiced veterinary medicine on Mercer Island, east of Seattle, since 1996, at MercyVet, a practice built around homeopathic and integrative care. Her stated passion in life has been healing dogs and cats, and her practice focuses on integrative approaches to long-term pet health.

She holds three credentials that rarely appear together. Her CVH designates her a Certified Veterinary Homeopath through the Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy, the only United States veterinary homeopathy certifying body recognized by the National Center for Homeopathy, awarded after completing the Professional Course in Veterinary Homeopathy and passing the Academy's certification examination. Her VetMFHom is Veterinary Membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy, a United Kingdom credential requiring roughly three years of accredited study and a clinical examination, and the first veterinary homeopathy qualification established anywhere in the world. 

Dr. Sehn keeps current with state-of-the-art orthodox veterinary techniques alongside the alternative modalities of homeopathy, chiropractic, nutrition and nutraceuticals, treating them as one toolkit rather than competing schools.
