This powerhouse vegetable is rich in vitamins K and C and contains sulforaphane.

Beef Trachea

This whole-food source of cartilage, Beef trachea provides natural glucosamine and chondroitin sulfates.

Sesame Seeds

Sesame seeds provide much-needed manganese for supporting joint and ligament issues.

Whole Dried Egg

Eggs are nature’s perfect food: rich in antibodies, functional proteins, and key nutritional components. EggMotion™ (a unique nutritional product developed by Trouw Nutrition specifically for pets) combines the nutrition of eggs with specific IgY antibodies that help maintain pets’ natural immune system in times of challenges or stress. EggMotion™ is also highly palatable.

Fish Oil

Green-Lipped Mussel (With Sea Cucumber)

This bivalve mollusk is the best whole-food source of naturally occurring glucosamine and chondroitin. Sea cucumber is very high in chondroitin sulfate.

Green Tea

Green tea is a whole food that contains an extremely powerful antioxidant call epigallocatechin-3-gallate, or EGCG. This substance scavenges free radicals and greatly increases the antioxidant load.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dogs should be fed 2-4% of their body weight per day. One Darwin meal patty is equivalent to an 8oz. cup of dry dog food. For weekly and monthly calculation, the following can be used as a guide:

  • A 10Ib dog will eat 2-2 ½Ibs per week or 10Ibs per month
  • A 25Ib dog will eat 8Ibs per week or 32Ibs per month
  • A 75Ib dog will eat 10-10 ½Ibs per week or 42Ibs per month
  • A 100Ib dog will eat 14Ibs per week or 56Ibs per month

Feeding guidelines may vary based on your dog’s age, size, weight, and activity level. If you are confused about how much to feed your dog, we offer free menu consultation by phone or email. We also recommend monitoring your dog’s weight so you can adjust his diet for weight gain or loss.

For any healthy adult pet, we don't recommend cooking Darwin's meals. It's best to simply thaw and serve. This is all to preserve the nutrients and to ensure the meals remain species-appropriate.

If your pet is under 4 months of age, or has a compromised immune system, we recommend lightly sautéing over medium to medium-high heat for 8-12 minutes.
